Therefore, the architectural appearance of Taiyuan Airport is very important. This is the first impression of Taiyuan, but also an opportunity to show Taiyuan local style, need to grasp, in the architectural decoration design reflects the elements of Shanxi Taiyuan.
Project Design
Shanxi Taiyuan geomorphological form as a whole is mainly mountain. Therefore, the ceiling of the aisle in front of the airport is decorated with a single sheet of linear ceiling for a wave-shaped design, which like a mountain. Also, Shanxi is a watershed between the Yellow River and the Haihe River, Taiyuan water system is also developed, so with the main building of the airport, the overall picture is like a sailboat against the current, to meet the development trend of Taiyuan Airport.
Actual Result
Taiyuan Airport shape gives a refreshing feeling, in the mountain-based city through a little dynamic. Airport internal ceiling to H-shaped linear ceiling, 21 linear ceiling buckle arrangement combined into a block, each block in an orderly separate, looks beautiful and clean, and from different angles have different visual effects, quite a cross-view into the ridge side of the peak taste.

Taiyuan Airport expansion, for the development of Taiyuan and Shanxi has brought positive impact, increased tourists, promote the development of tourism, increase regional income, and the airport clean, beautiful appearance also left a good impression on foreigners, from the architectural decoration can be a little understanding of the culture of Taiyuan, Shanxi.
